We will present and discuss Share Migration feature proposal that allows migrating shares between hosts, enabling use cases of Share retype, load balancing and evacuation. The migration feature supports two approaches: Generic Migration and Driver Migration, we will discuss what each approach supports and what is required from driver vendors in order for migration to work.
