Dr. Elisha Rosensweig is a Senior Software Engineer at CloudBand, Alcatel-Lucents NFV platform. There he is a member of the Insight team, which focuses on policy enforcement, monitoring and analytics. Additionally, he is currently teaching an undergraduate course on NFV at Tel Aviv University, the second year running. Prior to his work in CloudBand, in 2012, Dr. Rosensweig received his PhD from UMass Amherst, where he researched Future Internet Architectures (FIA), specifically cache networks, in the context of the Content Centric Networking framework. In 2013 he received the INFOCOM Best Paper Award. Dr. Rosensweig received his MSc in CompSci from Tel Aviv University and a BSc in Math and CompSci from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. His current interests are in policy enforcement, analytics and monitoring. Additionally, he is interested in anything NFV, and how OpenStack can support NFV.
